Analog trigger events and variable level outputs

Sometimes you may need to base the output voltage or current level on a variable analog input. In the case of temperature, analog temperature sensors report the exact temperature to the Raspberry pi or appropriate input device, and the logic controller will interpret the input level and based on user entered parameters will trigger a digital or relay output to activate either the furnace, electric heater, Heat Pump, or Hot Water zone valves. In some HVAC applications, you can even control damper motors, fireplace triggers or an emergency warning system.

Variable inputs and variable outputs is also important when designing a dimming lighting option. This is covered in the Low Voltage Lighting Control section http://www.loxone.ca/http%3A//www.loxone.ca/http%253A//www.loxone.ca/htt...
